Brazil - Amazon Nemo - October Trip

New Orleans, LA: A group of 10 anglers, most of who duck hunt, deer hunt, goose hunt and fish together, at exotic locations all over the world, made their first trip to the Amazon jungle of Brazil in quest of trophy peacock bass.

Not knowing what to expect, and never having caught any species of peacock bass before now, this group of avid fishermen caught on quickly to the "tricks of the trade" catching numbers of fish as well as big fish.

October the waters are generally high levels, but with water levels coming down, making for fishing sometimes difficult. Being the first month of the season and the fish not having seen a lure in several months always helps. The BITE was on!!!
