SEASON: The
normal fishing season in the Amazon River Basin runs from
September to March. All trips are booked on a first come
basis.
INCLUDED: The trip package covers 10 days/9 nights with
six full days of fishing. Also, included is the overnight
stay in a hotel in Manaus, the ground transfers between our
hotel, airports, and fishing destination, the rooms and meals
at the fishing destination, including soft drinks and beer
(we reserve the right to limit the number of beers consumed
by each client when health or safety issues are involved)
plus all the water and fruit juice you require, your fishing
permits, a guide operated boat and outboard, and the charter
flights from Manaus to camp and back. The price also includes
Bait Casting and Spin Casting Rods, reels and an assorted
lure package for your use at the camps.
EXCLUDED: The following items are not included in the price
of your trip: domestic travel to Miami, international airfare
to Manaus, tips to guides and camp personnel, expenses while
in Manaus including meals and city tours (but not hotel room
expenses), tips to service personnel in Manaus, overweight
luggage charges, personal items, liquor, fly-fishing equipment/tackle,
and airport departure tax.
PRICES: The
package price for the season is $4,250.00.
The two operations (Amazon
Cutter, and Amazon Explorer) will be priced
the same for the season. Get your reservations in early
for your preferred weeks.
A deposit of $1,000.00
is required with your reservation to confirm your dates.
The balance is due 60 days prior to trip departure. All
funds are deposited into a special account until payment
is required by the camp. There will be no refunds of
any monies paid toward the trip. We cannot guarantee
weather, fishing conditions or mechanical failures, and
those factors will not be a cause for a price adjustment
or refund. However, if notice is give at least 60 days
prior to scheduled trip departures, all monies paid may
be applied to the then current retail price for a future
trip to the same location. The new trip must be taken
within 12 months from the date of the cancelled trip.
We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance in
case of a last minute emergency.
