Amazon Nemo

Boat-Hotel Amazon Nemo

The Amazon Nemo is a 70 foot luxury Hotel on the water that moves throughout the Amazon Basin depending on water levels and where the fishing is best. The Nemo is powered by a 360 hp diesel engine and has 30 KVA generators for power source. Aboard is a large ice machine, severel freezers, a galley, plenty of food, soda, beer and water. She has a cruising speed of 12 knots.

The Nemo accommodates up to 12 anglers in spacious cabins with air conditioning, private showers, hot water and private bathrooms. Aboard is plenty of help to service your every needs. The chef  prepares daily the most succulent blend of American and Brazilian cuisine.

Meals are served in our onboard restaurant...relax with your ship mates at the bar which has a nice selection of beverages, beer and sodas. You can also socialize in the TV Salon or atop the Solarium enjoying the uninterrupted view of the river and phenominal Amazon sunsets.

Fish on the banks of the Rio Negro River, the Solimoes River and the Madeira River.

The best time of fishing begins the end of July on the rivers Madeirs, Acari, Abacaxis, Sucunduri, Mataperi and Camaiu. In October, the boat begins its journey to the Rio Negro River to fish the Jauaperi, Jufari, Caures, Unini, Demeni, Cuiuni and Acara rivers. And this period of time extends all the way through March, every year.

Mosquitos are not a problem since they cannot breed because of the tanic acid in the water. These regions posses the potential for breaking the IGFA record for Peacock Bass. The world record Peacock Bass of 27 lbs. was caught on the Rio Negro River.
