Peacock Bass Fishing - the best trip in the Amazon!

If you are looking for the BEST peacock bass fishing experience in the Amazon, look no further!! There are several things that set us apart from the competition.

  1. All trips are hosted personally by the Owner, Terry J Jertberg, who was born and raised in Brazil until age 18. He speaks, reads and writes Portuquese fluently and will be with you from start to finish.
  2. We have the best cook in the Amazon. She cooks a mixture of American and Brazilian cuisine, and all that have travelled with us are impressed by her skills.
  3. We will do whatever it takes to place our clients on fish. This means we will move around, we will find hidden lagoons to fish and we will try different methods of fishing until we find the fish.
  4. If time permits, we will take a tour of Manaus the first day of arrival. The mini-bus that transports us from the airport to the Hotel is ours to use all day. We use the mini-bus to eat at a great Brazilian steakhouse-NO added taxi fees.

This all happens in the mysterious Amazon, with it's winding rivers, creeks and hidden lagoons. Awesome is the only word that comes to mind. Hundreds of wild parrots and macaws fly overhead. Howler monkeys far in the distance call their mates from deep in the jungle. Squirrel monkeys jump from the treetops playing "tag" 150 ft. above the jungle floor.

It's this sort of habitat that breeds the attitude of the Peacock Bass. Yes. This fish has a real attitude. This is my territory; my home and I do not like intruders. I have no fear. The Peacock Bass will strike at your bait just because it can. It is ferocious. It is extremely aggressive!
